SCHEDULE A FORENSIC EVALUATION

I am a forensic sexologist based in Charlottesville, Virginia.

My expertise lies in conducting pre-sentencing evaluations of individuals convicted of sexual offenses, as well as court-ordered juvenile competency evaluations. I have completed specialized training and am appointed as an expert under Virginia §19.2-300. I am a qualified mental health provider who has completed ILPPP's “Evaluating Individuals Charged with Sexual Offenses” training. I am also a member of the Virginia Sexual Offender Treatment Association (VSOTA).

In addition to my work as an evaluator, I am a researcher, instructor, and AASECT certified clinical sexologist. I have extensive experience providing talk therapy in a variety of clinical settings and have established an online program that provides field practicum supervision and training to social work graduate students from various universities. My research focuses on identifying, adapting, and integrating clinical reasoning methods into clinical sexology, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of care that sex therapists provide to their clients.

I am also an instructor in qualitative research methods at the University of Michigan’s School of Social Work. I have presented my research findings at several national conferences, including the Society for Sex Therapy and Research and the Society for Personality and Social Psychology.
